New Delhi, March 18 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Tuesday assured the Delhi High Court that it will follow due process of law, including issuing a show-cause notice, if it plans to demolish houses in Uttam Nagar. The reply was filed over petitions filed by the mothers of two individuals accused or questioned in connection with the killing of a 26-year-old man during a family clash in Uttam Nagar over Holi celebrations. The submission was made by MCD's lawyer before a bench of justice, Amit Bansal, in the petitions preferred by Shahnaz and Jarina.
