New Delhi, March 28 -- The Lok Sabha on Monday is likely to hold a discussion on the government's efforts to free the country from left wing extremism(LWE).
The discussion, if it happens, will be held a day before the Centre's deadline of eradicating Naxalism from the country by March 31, 2026.
According to the Lok Sabha's revised agenda for Monday (March 30), two MPs Byreddy Shabari of the TDP and Shiv Sena's Shrikant Eknath Shinde has given the notice for discussion under rule 193, which allows short duration of discussion on matters of public importance.
Discussion under Rule 193 refers to a specific procedure in the Lok Sabha that allows MPs to discuss an important public issue without putting it to a vote.
