New Delhi, Dec. 1 -- Lawyers deserve to get medical and life insurance cover, Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said on Thursday, assuring that the Centre will provide the necessary funds to accomplish the demand from the legal fraternity.
"Money is not the problem. I promise you [we] will get it and if this proposal faces any financial impediments, then we will remove that obstacle and will ensure you get insurance cover," Meghwal said, while speaking at the Constitution Day celebrations organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). "Whatever is the monetary requirement, the Union government will make all efforts to make it available."
