Vijayawada, April 26 -- Justice Lisa Gill was sworn-in as the chief justice of Andhra Pradesh high court on Saturday, succeeding justice (retired) Dhiraj Singh Thakur.
Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer administered the oath of office to justice Gill at the Lok Bhavan in Vijayawada.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by high court judges, lawyers and several others. Justice Gill was transferred from Punjab and Haryana high court March 6.
