New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- The current BCCI president CK Khanna, who brought Arun Jaitley into cricket administration via the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) back in 1998 (as member and patron), recalls an incident from during "The Emergency" period when the then student politician and later Union minister was released from Tihar jail.

"Asked what he missed during his time in jail, he said his family...and cricket," says Khanna.

Khanna was the secretary of the 1972 students union of Delhi University's Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of which Jaitley was the president. The two have known each other since then.
