ISL rights bidder meets clubs
Kolkata, April 24 -- All ISL clubs barring Mohun Bagan attended Thursday's online presentation from Genius Sports, the highest bidder for the commercial rights of India's top league with an annual commitment of $7m for the next 15+5 years. AIFF deputy secretary-general M Satyanarayan termed the discussion fruitful.
The Genius representative said they would invest for the first two years and were confident of generating revenue thereafter, said an official present at the meeting. "They've built the data and broadcast infrastructure for some of the most valuable sports leagues on the planet.
