India, Sept. 11 -- India football team captain Sunil Chhetri made no attempts to hide his emotions after India managed to hold Asian Champions Qatar to a 0-0 draw at their own backyard in Doha on Tuesday night. Chhetri, who could not take part in the crucial World Cup qualifier match against mighty Qatar due to high fever and fatigue, described India's performance on Tuesday as one of the proudest moments of his career.

Chhetri was not only first XI player missing on Tuesday, Ashique Kuruniyan was also unavailable but a a gritty Indian side survived waves of attack from Qatar to hold them to a goal-less draw. Chhetri credited the coaching staff headed by Igor Stimac for the achievement.
