Washington, Jan. 11 -- Global growth will slow down to 1.7% in 2023 due to "elevated inflation, higher interest rates, reduced investment, and disruptions caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine", according to World Bank's latest Global Economic Prospects released on Tuesday. It estimates India to grow at 6.9% in 2022-23, a dip from June's 7.5% projection.
