Ghose slams BJP MPs' absence at Tagore tribute, Rijiju hits back
New Delhi, May 10 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Sagarika Ghose on Saturday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that the MPs from the ruling party were not present in Parliament to pay tribute to Rabindranath Tagore on his birth anniversary. Union parliamentary affairs minister Kiren Rijiju, however, hit back at Ghose, underlining parliamentary practices.
In a post on X, the Rajya Sabha MP said, "Not a single sitting BJP MP present today at the floral tribute ceremony in Parliament on the birth anniversary of Kaviguru RabindranathTagore.
