India, Nov. 23 -- November is turning out to be the most challenging month for the national Capital in managing the Covid-19 pandemic. As the number of coronavirus cases is on the rise in Delhi, the national capital recorded 6,746 new cases of Covid-19 and 121 fatalities on Sunday, pushing the death toll to 8,391, authorities said.

This is the fifth time in the last 11 days that the daily toll has crossed the 100-mark.

On Saturday, the state government's daily health bulletin had recorded 111 deaths. On Friday, the number was 118. On November 18, Delhi recorded 131 Covid-19 deaths - the highest so far in a day.
