New Delhi, March 30 -- The Congress party is likely to announce its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha election on April 5 in New Delhi and follow it up with rallies across the country starting with Jaipur on April 6, a senior functionary said on Friday. The party has also planned a rally in Hyderabad.

The event in Delhi, is expected to see the top three leaders-Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, the party's parliamentary head Sonia Gandhi and former chief Rahul Gandhi - releasing the manifesto that hinges on 5 set of guarantees - one each for women, youth, farmers, workers and social justice.

The party will use the tagline "Haath badlega Halaat" (The hand - a reference to the party's poll symbol - will change the situation) in the poll...
