New Delhi, April 17 -- A total of seven cricket stadiums across the country have yet to share compliance data on groundwater utilisation and recharge, the Central Groundwater Authority (CGWA) has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT). In a January submission, 12 stadiums had yet to share details, with the NGT subsequently imposing a fine of Rs.5,000 each. In its latest submission dated April 15, CGWA said that while five stadiums have since shared compliance reports, no response has been received from the remaining seven.
