AGRA/LUCKNOW, March 9 -- An Agra-based chemistry teacher has been arrested for allegedly preparing chemical precursors for MDMA, a prohibited psychoactive drug, and supplying them to rave parties in Telangana, police said. While the case is reminiscent of the hit American crime drama Breaking Bad, police officers said that the accused, Manoj Kumar, 36, had reportedly never watched the series. Investigators, however, suspect his associate may have been familiar with the storyline, which revolves around a chemistry teacher using scientific knowledge to enter the illicit drug trade.
