BJP MP joins Holi event in Dhoor in bid to rehabilitate deserted villages
New Delhi/Dehradun, March 1 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Anil Baluni on Saturday took part in Holi celebrations in the "ghost village" of Dhoor as part of his long-standing project to rehabilitate deserted villages in his constituency of Garhwal in Uttarakhand.
"In the Dhoor village of Pauri Garhwal district, which falls under the Ekeshwar development block and has been categorised as a deserted village (ghost village) due to migration, Holi was celebrated with migrants from nearby villages and those who had settled outside after leaving Dhoor village," he said in a post on X in Hindi.
