Siliguri, Oct. 23 -- MP from Darjeeling, Raju Bista, was on Tuesday attacked while he was on the way to inaugurate a school building in Kalimpong district of West Bengal. Bista tweeted a video of the attack, calling it an assassination attempt on him. "Today there was an assassination attempt on me. I was on my way to inaugurate a new school building in Sinji, Kalimpong when drunk TMC supporters attacked me with khukuri, knives and pelted heavy stones," read the tweet.
