MEERUT/BULANDSHAHR/Rudrapur, March 21 -- Over 86 people, including an additional district magistrate, fell ill after consuming "kuttu ka atta" (buckwheat flour), commonly eaten during fasting, in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat, Bijnor and Bulandshahr districts and Rudrapur in Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district on Thursday, the first day of Navratri, officials said on Friday. All affected people in UP have been hospitalised, while the 11 people who were undergoing treatment in a Rudrapur hospital, were discharged, they said.
