Kolkata, March 24 -- A 61-year-old patient died at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Monday after allegedly being made to walk around 50 metres to a pay-and-use toilet without the assistance of a trolley or wheelchair despite his ailing condition, his family alleged. Biswajit Samanta, a resident of North 24 Parganas, was rushed to the trauma centre of the state-run hospital by his family in the early hours of Monday after he complained of chest pain and respiratory problems.
