4 die in Raj scrapyard blaze
Alwar, April 26 -- Four people, including two children, died and a woman was injured after a massive fire broke out on Friday evening in a scrap warehouse at a residential area in Rajasthan's Alwar district's, police said.
The victims were identified as Ravi Dutt from Haryana, Dashrath from Neemrana, and the children, Arushi(6) and Kavita (16) from Uttar Pradesh. Their bodies were sent for post-mortem examination, added police.
According to deputy superintendent of police Charul Gupta, the fire broke out in the warehouse in Neemrana after two scrap collectors tried to light a match to smoke while labourers were breaking discarded perfume bottles nearby.
