Kolkata, April 12 -- A total of 36.07 million voters would be eligible to vote in the first phase of the West Bengal assembly elections on April 23, data shared by the ECI revealed on Saturday. A total of 152 assembly constituencies are set to go to polls in the first phase. The electoral rolls for the first phase comprised 18.4 million male, 17.5 million female, and 465 third gender voters. As per the data, Murshidabad, with 5.02 million voters, topped the list of states followed by Purba Medinipur (4.16 million) and Paschim Medinipur (3.7 million).
