Bhopal, March 3 -- Two sanitation workers of the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) died after entering a sewer tank in Indore on Monday evening, allegedly due to suffocation caused by toxic gas.The incident took place near Choithram Mandi Gate. Those dead have been identified as Karan and Ajay. According to doctors, the preliminary cause of death appears to be suffocation due to toxic gas emissions inside the chamber. The exact cause will be confirmed after the post-mortem examination scheduled for Tuesday, the officials said. Initially, fellow sanitation workers claimed the two had entered the tank to clean it.
