GORAKHPUR, April 6 -- A 15-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly chased into an agricultural field and murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district, police said on Sunday, adding that two accused have been arrested in the incident. Additional superintendent of police (South) Anand Kumar Pandey said the accused - one of them OBC and the other from a Dalit community- have been booked for murder under BNS and relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
