Bhopal, March 3 -- Madhya Pradesh police on Monday booked 12 candidates for cheating in an excise constable recruitment exam after a system analysis alerted that they answered all 100 questions in just 15 minutes, police said. Police also booked an unidentified person for providing an answer sheet to the candidates online, officers said. The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board conducted the Excise Constable Recruitment Examination 2024 from September 9 to 21, 2025, for 253 posts. A total of 110,032 candidates had appeared for the exam. Results were announced on February 5, but the board withheld outcomes for these 12 candidates after a system alert flagged them as suspicious.
