PANAJI, June 13 -- The Goa Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday claimed that the 10 lawmakers of opposition Congress have approached them to merge their faction with the ruling party in the coastal state, state BJP president, Vinay Tendulkar, claimed. Tendulkar, who refuted allegations by Goa Congress president Girish Chodankar that the BJP had offered a "three-tier package deal" to Congress MLAs, said the offer by 10 Congress legislators was shot down by the party's leadership.
