New Delhi, May 12 -- The Delhi government will open a portal for e-rickshaw registration starting May 15, weeks after withdrawing its earlier circular that allowed companies and firms to register multiple e-carts and e-rickshaws, officials said on Monday. Delhi transport minister Pankaj Singh said the government wants a one e-rickshaw, one license and one Aadhaar policy. Earlier this month, the Delhi transport department withdrew its circular dated April 21, 2022, which permitted companies and firms to register multiple e-carts and e-rickshaws, limited to lithium-ion battery models, in their names.
