New Delhi, July 12 -- With the numbers the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has, the Budget presented on July 5 by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman should have been "bolder", Congress leader P Chidambaram said in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

"Please ensure that bold structural reforms are done to boost economic growth," the former finance minister said during the debate on Budget 2019, adding that despite its historic mandate the government had stayed away from carrying out structural reforms.
