Goa, Dec. 22 -- As per Zilla Panchayat election trends till 2 pm, the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged as the frontrunner, leading in 15 seats across Goa. The Indian National Congress is trailing with four seats, while the Goa Forward Party has secured one seat. The Revolutionary Goans Party has also won one seat. Independents have made their presence felt by winning two seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party has failed to open its account so far. Counting is ongoing, and final results are awaited as trends continue to evolve.
