Goa, Nov. 13 -- The North Goa Sessions Court in Merces has extended the judicial custody of Zenito Cardozo and seven others for 14 days in connection with the assault case involving social activist Rama Kankonkar. All eight accused were produced before the court following their arrest for allegedly attacking Kankonkar. The incident, which sparked public outrage, has drawn strong condemnation from social groups demanding strict action against those involved.
