Goa, Oct. 31 -- The North Goa District and Sessions Court has extended the judicial custody of Zenito and seven others by 14 days in connection with the alleged assault case involving social activist Rama Kankonkar. The group was earlier arrested for their suspected role in the incident, which drew widespread attention in the local community. During the latest court proceedings, the judge ordered that all eight accused remain in custody as the investigation continues. Authorities are reportedly gathering additional evidence and statements related to the case. The next hearing has been scheduled for November 13.
