Mopa, July 10 -- A 22-year-old youth sustained injuries in a self-accident on the Mopa link road early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 6:20 am, when the victim, identified as Avinash Math, a resident of Parra, was en route to Mopa Airport to pick up a passenger.

According to eyewitnesses, Avinash lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the crash. A nearby taxi driver and locals promptly rushed to his aid and helped shift him to Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the mishap.
