Goa, Jan. 5 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the expanding role of women in the Indian Defence Forces, stating that they are increasingly taking on critical operational responsibilities rather than being confined to support duties.Speaking in Goa, Singh said women officers are now serving as pilots, observers, air traffic controllers, logistics officers and are also being trained to operate hovercraft.
