Goa, Dec. 1 -- Residents of Assagao have voiced concerns about several new water pipes lying unattended along the main road in ward number one. According to local Chandan Mandrekar, the Public Works Department (PWD) left three bundles of pipes on either side of the road leading to Mapusa. Vehicles passing by often hit the pipes, causing them to end up on the road and creating a hazard for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Locals have urged the PWD to act immediately and remove the pipes to prevent potential accidents.
