Goa, June 7 -- A tragic incident at Secunderabad Railway Station claimed the life of 28-year-old Urakonda Sai from Warangal, who was en route to Goa for his honeymoon with his wife, relatives, and friends. The joyful journey took a heartbreaking turn when Sai died while attempting to board a moving train.
According to eyewitnesses, the group was set to travel on the Vasco-da-Gama Express. Due to a delay, Sai stepped off the train to buy a water bottle. Moments later, the train began moving. His friends pulled the emergency chain to halt the train and help him reboard. However, Railway Police intervened and detained two of Sai's companions for misusing the emergency chain, insisting they disembark and pay a fine.
