Goa, April 30 -- A tragic incident unfolded at the Simhachalam temple in Andhra Pradesh early Wednesday, where a cement wall collapsed on a group of devotees, killing at least eight people and injuring several others.
The collapse occurred while devotees were standing in a queue near a shopping complex on the Ghat Road, close to the Simhagiri Bus Stand, waiting to purchase Rs.300 darshan tickets. The structure suddenly gave way, trapping those nearby under the debris.
