Goa, Aug. 21 -- The Tilamol-Kevona road has become a nightmare for motorists, with deep potholes making the stretch almost unmotorable and accidents being reported frequently. Locals allege that the road has been neglected for years, and despite repeated appeals, MLA Subhash Phal Desai has failed to take action.

The situation turned alarming on Tuesday evening when a bus's housing broke loose after plunging into a pothole. Residents warned that if such an incident had occurred on a slope, it could have resulted in a major tragedy.

Frustrated with the government's inaction, villagers staged a unique protest by planting BJP flags inside the potholes at Rivona, hoping to draw attention to their plight and force authorities to act.
