Goa, Nov. 29 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief Vijai Sardesai issued a stern warning to those allegedly involved in damaging GFP banners during a corner meeting in Divar. Speaking to supporters, Sardesai expressed strong disapproval of the acts, emphasizing that the party takes such incidents very seriously.

In a pointed statement, he cautioned, "Anyone who tears GFP campaign material should be careful," and further added that the party would not hesitate to retaliate if such actions continued.

The incident underscores rising tensions in the island's political landscape as parties ramp up campaign activities ahead of upcoming elections.
