Goa, Dec. 22 -- Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai said today that the fire tragedy at Birch by Romeo Lane contributed to a reduced vote share for the BJP, especially in Anjuna. He claimed that the ruling party is losing ground, as higher margins for opposition candidates reflect public frustration. Sardesai also warned that goondagiri (hooliganism) is on the rise in the state, alleging that it is occurring with the tacit support of the ruling BJP. His comments highlight growing concerns over governance and law and order.
