Goa, Nov. 13 -- Renowned journalist and cartoonist Alexyz (Alex Fernandes) will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion of National Press Day, celebrated on November 17.

The award, which recognises Alexyz's outstanding and lifelong contribution to journalism, will be presented by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant during the state-level celebrations.

With a career spanning several decades, Alexyz is celebrated for his sharp wit, distinctive artistic style, and fearless commentary through both editorial writing and political cartoons.
