Goa, April 30 -- In a swift operation on Tuesday evening, Verna Police arrested three individuals for allegedly running an illegal online roulette gambling operation behind the Aley Chicken Centre in Nagoa, Pirni.
The accused were caught red-handed while operating the gambling activity on tablet devices. Police seized three tablets and cash amounting to Rs.6,500 from the suspects, with total items valued at Rs.66,500.
A case has been registered under Sections 3 and 4 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act (GDDPG Act), and further investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of the illegal operation.
