Goa, Nov. 13 -- Benaulim MLA and AAP leader Venzy Viegas, along with officials from the Tourism and Panchayat departments, carried out a preliminary inspection at Colva Beach, which is set for redevelopment under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. Venzy stated that a special Gram Sabha meeting will soon be convened to present the formal proposal before the villagers, ensuring that feedback from locals, as well as restaurant and stall owners, is taken into account. The redevelopment plan includes rebuilding the bridges over the creek leading to the beach and repairing the malfunctioning high mast. Venzy assured that ongoing tourist activities, especially shack businesses, will not be disrupted during the process.
