Complaining of incurring losses, the vendors in the Marcel fish market located behind KTC bus stand have claimed that customers are reluctant to visit the market due to the stinking conditions on account of wastewater overflowing from a drain.
The vendors and customers stated that they had urged authorities to clear choked drain, due to which water is overflowing in the area which has caused the area
to stink.
The vendors said that due to the stench they are losing business as many customers do not visit the market to buy fish as the premises have turned slippery due to overflowing stinking water.
The vendors pointed out some senior citizens sustained injuries after falling off due to slippery condition...
