Goa, March 18 -- On Tuesday, local residents expressed their worries about the railway track doubling project taking place near the Vadeshwar Damodar Devasthan Temple in Maimollem, Vasco. They are concerned that the construction could harm the temple or require its relocation.
In response to these concerns, Vasco MLA reassured the community that the temple's safety is a priority. He instructed railway officials to mark the area and consider rerouting the railway track to prevent any negative effects on the temple. The MLA also promised that further discussions would take place with railway representatives to find a solution that protects both the temple and the ongoing infrastructure project.
