Goa, Nov. 13 -- The United States has sanctioned 32 individuals and entities from eight countries, including India, for aiding Iran's ballistic missile and drone programmes. The Indian company Farmlane Private Limited and its UAE-based director, Marco Klinge, were named among those targeted. According to the US Treasury Department, Klinge played a central role in the sanctioned operations. The move is part of Washington's ongoing efforts to restrict Iran's nuclear ambitions, which Tehran insists are for peaceful purposes. Earlier in June, the US and Israel carried out airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
