Goa, June 4 -- Mapusa Police have arrested three individuals from Moira-Bardez - Ranganath Shetye (55), Vinod Shetkari (47), and Kaushal Shetye (32) - for allegedly assaulting a couple at Bastora junction. The victims have been identified as Vivek Shirodkar and his pregnant wife, Shruti Shirodkar.

According to police sources, the incident took place at Bastora junction where the couple was allegedly attacked. The case has sparked concern due to the involvement of a pregnant woman among the victims.

Investigations are ongoing, and police have indicated that more arrests are likely in connection with the case.
