Goa, April 17 -- A United Airlines flight departing from Denver International Airport to Edmonton on April 13, 2025, was forced to make an emergency landing after a rabbit was sucked into one of its engines during takeoff.
The Boeing 737-800 was carrying 153 passengers and a total of six crew members. Passengers reported seeing large flames coming from the engine, which led to panic inside the cabin.
According to reports, as the plane was taking off, a rabbit ran onto the runway and was ingested into the aircraft's right engine, causing a loud bang, massive vibrations, and eventually an engine fire. The pilots quickly declared an emergency, shut down the affected engine, and returned to Denver for a safe landing. Thankfully, no injuries...
