Goa, Aug. 14 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Goa on September 10, where he will lay the foundation stone for multiple projects in the coastal state, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced on Thursday.

Sawant, who returned to Goa on Wednesday evening after meeting Shah and BJP president J. P. Nadda in New Delhi, said he had extended the invitation for Shah's visit.

Among the projects to be launched during the Union minister's visit is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum at Farmagudi in South Goa district, the chief minister confirmed.
