India, Feb. 1 -- The Union Budget 2026-27 has set a strong direction for India's healthcare future, with a clear focus on innovation, access and resilience, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said. The Budget places emphasis on strengthening last-mile healthcare delivery, expanding district hospital capacity, investing in mental health services, and supporting caregivers and allied health professionals.
