Uguem Rising Club had to wait till the penalty shoot-out to get the better of hosts Shiroda Youth Club 5-4 via tie-breaker to enter into the semi-finals of 3rd Uday Shirodkar memorial inter-village football tournament played at Subhash Chandra Bose sports complex, Karai-Shiroda, on Thursday. Both teams played an attacking soccer and got equal opportunities to score but couldn't break the deadlock till the final whistle. In the deceive penalty shoot-out, Uguem Rising Club netted through Israel Gomes, Clive Gomes, Rutik Bandodkar, Chiraj Gaukar and Maxson Lopes, while Royston Vaz, Climax Fernandes, Shawn Colaco and Elton Cruz found the net for Shiroda YC.
