Goa, Dec. 15 -- A tragic road accident at the Cortalim flyover claimed the lives of two young men in the early hours of Sunday. Police said the accident occurred at around 1.20 am when the motorcycle they were riding reportedly lost balance and hit a road divider. After striking the divider, the two-wheeler crossed into the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming car. The motorcycle was travelling from Panaji towards Verna. The victims have been identified as K H Bikram Singha and S. Pariton Singha, both natives of Assam and currently staying in Consua, Cortalim. The rider and pillion rider suffered severe injuries and were taken to Goa Medical College, Bambolim, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
