Goa, Dec. 17 -- Two women hawkers were handed over to the Tourist Police during an enforcement drive conducted behind the popular Cocktails N Dreams shack at Colva beach in South Goa.

The drive was led by Deputy Director of Tourism Rodlin Mascarenhas, along with personnel from the Tourist Police and beach wardens. As part of the operation, officials also removed unauthorised boards erected along Colva beach.

The action was taken to ensure compliance with tourism and beach management regulations and to curb unauthorised commercial activity in the area. Authorities said such enforcement drives will continue to maintain order, cleanliness and a positive experience for tourists visiting South Goa.
