India, Dec. 2 -- A 55-year-old man was killed after his two-wheeler collided with a car at Rumdamawada, Mormugao, on Sunday evening.

The Mormugao police identified the victim as Mallinath Goudar (55), a resident of MPA Colony, Headland, Sada. The accident occurred near a washing centre at Rumdamawada when the car driver, Srikrushan Bandekar (20), was travelling from Sada to Vasco. Goudar had halted his two-wheeler along the roadside when the driver reportedly failed to notice him and rammed into the bike, leaving him seriously injured.

Goudar was rushed to the Sub-District Hospital in Chicalim but succumbed to his injuries on the way, police said.
